Minecraft Snapshots – The Great Copper Popper
Well we didn’t get an End Update as per usual. HOWEVER something else that’s magnificent has taken its place! Introducing the Copper Update!
Let’s go over some of the details for the next Snapshot. Not only are we getting The Copper Golem which can sort your chests for you, but we’re also getting new Copper Tools and Copper Gear! They serve as a mediator between stone and iron, in case you can’t find any iron.
While Bedrock Previews have the features right now, Java will be getting their snapshots soon.
Minecraft Modpacks – Sequels Abound
Many Modpack Sequels have started popping up this summer! First up we got ourselves Create Chronicles: The Endventure, a continuation and more relaxed version to its Bosses and Beyond modpack. Then we got MC Eternal 2, a sequel people have been waiting for almost a decade now! Holy cow! But I think most impressively we are seeing the return of FTB Skies.
FTB Skies 2 doesn’t just have the Happy Ghast backported to older Minecraft versions, but it allows you to pick one of many paths! One can use the power Crystalmancy to harness crystalline power to produce expensive materials. Another could cultivate Mystical Agriculture seeds to make these same materials. And then others could Prospect all that’s around them, taking it more slow and casual. There’s so much to explore that one might need to Order a Server to experience the best of it with friends.
Minecraft Maps – Abundance of New Maps
Speaking of many new things, quite a few authors have dropped their maps on the trials. TEHEK and LunaEclipse have dropped their maps such as Intervention, a spy-based PvP game, and Color Wars, a team based OITC styled game. There’s even Missile Wars Recrafted remaking the classic Missile Wars game to modern versions!
I think one of the highlights this month though has been Mowse and their CTM maps! You got maps like Uncomplete CTM, putting players into dismantling a monument instead of completing it, and Labyrinth: Antiquity! This map puts you into exploring the ancients and uncovering some dark truths. Best load up a trial and explore what might be hiding inside.
Summer Time Heat – Get a Minecraft Server!

Looking Into August 2025
Phewy! An action packed month of heat and content has been coming in July!
Honestly, I’m hoping that August sees a bit more of a slowdown going on. We still should be getting new Minecraft Modpacks and plenty of Minecraft Maps going on, but Minecraft Snapshots are keeping us on our toes!
StickyPiston Hosting will still be providing the best we can though! Even with the massive amount of content, we’ll keep going on and giving it out to you guys as fast as possible.
