What Payment Methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal payments who accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Maestro.

How long does it take between ordering a server and it becoming available to use?

Your Minecraft server will be ready to play as soon as you make your first PayPal payment, if it is not ready please get intouch with our support team.

What are the initial payments costs?

There are no setup costs. You only pay for the package.

I haven't received my server information yet!

We will first send you an order confirmation to the email address you have supplied us with. Once your server has been set up we will then send you the Multicraft logon details to the same address. First, check your spam and bulk mail folders. If you haven't received an order confirmation but you believe you successfully completed the order process then contact us immediately. If it has been 4 hours since receiving an order confirmation and you still don't have your server details, please contact us.

What server specifications should I be considering?

The server specification is based on the size of the server in Megabytes MB's and how many friends will be playing on the server. We have set a rough guideline to how many people can play on each world with you. You may need more ram if your map is large with players spreadout or if you have installed many Bukkit plugins. If you do spot errors in your server console which are memory related you may need to upgrade your server.

Is there a Contract? When can I cancel it?

There is no contract when you sign up with StickyPiston Minecraft hosting, because of this you can cancel your server at any time. You can send a cancellation request any time you like by logging into the Client Area Servers and viewing your server. You can send a cancel or upgrade request from here.

When do you take payment?

Your first Minecraft hosting payment is taken when you place your first order using PayPal.
Your second payment will required at the end of the month to keep your server running. 5 days before your first month is over we will email an invoice for your next months Minecraft hosting. To continue using your server for the next month pay this invoice with PayPal by clicking the pay button.
If you don't pay the invoice your server will be suspened until you make the payment (don't worry your server will be safe).
We will send you a reminder the day before your server is going to be suspended. If you have any questions or billing problems please submit a support ticket.

I've just placed my order, what do I do now?

You should receive a confirmation email immediately after successfully placing an order. Your server will be set up and when it is ready we will email you your login and password for the Multicraft Control Panel. From there you will be able to administer your Minecraft server.

Can I upgrade my Package?

Yes, view your server in the Client Area Servers, here you can upgrade your server package to a larger one or downgrade to a smaller package.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes we offer a trial, you can visit our trial server at http://trial.stickypiston.co (US/Canada) or http://eutrial.stickypiston.co (UK and Rest of Europe)

Do you offer a split invoice system for me and my friends?

No, we do not have a split invoicing system at the moment, your friends would need to send you money to your own PayPal account.

Can I place a custom order for the resources I need?

Not at the moment, because we are a managed mincraft hosting server with have kept the packages and addons simple.

Do you have an affiliate system?

Not at the moment, please check back later on.

What is your Refund Policy?

We like to think you're going to love our servers, then again if you are not happy we have a 14 day money back guarantee. If you cancel your server  within the first 14 days we will refund all the hosting fee.

How do I discontinue my service?

You can send a cancellation request any time you like by logging into the Client Area Servers and viewing your server. You can send a cancel request, which will automatically cancel your server a we will provide a full money back gurantee if it is within 15 days of signing up. Don't forget to backup and download your world before cancelling your server.
