One of the biggest problems when we start modpacks as a beginner or even for some experienced players is that there’s no choice on what we want to do. Learning the mods requires finding guides and videos online, not even being perfect in what they do. What the Academy here does is makes it so you can learn how you want to progress in modded and give a better understanding as to what guides you need to use. This allows you to continuously go forth into the world of modded so you know which modpack to play next.
FTB Academy 1.16 follows up on the premise of teaching players how to learn modded to the best of their abilities. You’ll be returning back to school again, this time with a new and refreshed understanding of how mods will be working. It will also be good to adjust to how modded has changed over the years while you’re going through this school.
While it’s good to refresh your mind on what Astral Sorcery & Botania have to offer again, they’re just an enhancement to other mods seen in this pack. You’ll get to be learning how to harness the Powah! of objects around, generating energy through various means. This power can help you with utilizing RFTools and Refined Storage, powerful tech mods in which the player will need to make new items to improve all functions of their base.
