The FTB Horizons series was aimed to introduce new or rewritten mods to the playerbase. These mods tend to be quite overlooked or were not prominent in a lot of modpacks at the time. The name comes from these new mods appearing on the Horizon and giving them a better chance at living. This series actually helped grow mods such as Biomes O’ Plenty and Morpheus so the public can appreciate more of what they offered.
As a sequel to the original FTB Horizons Modpack, FTB Horizons: Daybreaker shows more mods that had come to the realm of Feed The Beast Modpacks. Starting off with technology, you’ll dive into the likes of Matter Overdrive, a Sci-Fi tech mod that replicates what is seen from the Star Trek franchise. You can become an Android thanks to this and expose yourself to more danger such as the magics of Aura Cascade as you challenge yourself to solve complex problems through innovative powers. A problem that can arise is creating rockets to travel across Galacticraft, but using the in-game guidesto learn more about everything you should be fine with forming into these space explorations. The experience and demonstrating of power held within this modpack introduces itself to you, so jump in and even invite your friends to become involved.
