Wow, how are we almost halfway through 2026? 😮
We’ve been busy topping up our library with the latest Minecraft Maps and Modpacks to ensure you never run out of new experiences to enjoy. Plus, with Minecraft’s next Game Drop, Chaos Cubed, coming in a few weeks, players can spring into June 2026 and start the adventure!
Snapshot Releases – The Cubes of Chaos are arriving
Our prediction was spot on, Minecraft 26.2 releases on 16th June 2026! We also saw what Mojang are working on for the next Game Drop, 26.3, during Minecraft LIVE at TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026. We expect this drop to release in Fall/Autumn 2026, but more on that later!
June 2nd – 26.2 Pre-Release 3
- Reverted a fix for “Attribute Swapping” (temporary)
- Sulfur Cubes now align vertically when invisible
- New World Event property for multiplayer sessions

Minecraft Modpacks – Take on wild adventures
So many wild adventures have dropped this month. Players can explore the Dragon World in Dragon Mine Z. If that’s not your style, why not take on a new Skyblock challenge in the Fractured Opolis.
But one journey to keep a watch for is Skillet Man. You thought Minecraft Maps were cooking something up last month? Well with this modpack, players will start by being an amazing chef during the day, but by night, they turning into the skillet-wielding warrior no one expects them to be.
Minecraft Maps – Peak into adventures and puzzles
Get ready to embark on a PeakQuest (or PeakQuest 2 if you want to be extra fancy!) for this month’s Minecraft Maps. Then, go on an adventure through the Parkour Galaxy, or challenge yourself in After Impact: Eternal Winter. Can you survive?
But then there’s also soul shattering puzzles found from The Terrace 3. Players must explore thematic worlds with handcrafted puzzles designed to make them think on their feet or figure out certain mechanics. They’re not directly told, so it’s a real head scratcher!
Looking Into July 2026
Summer is here and we’re already half way through 2026! We’ve had two Game Drops in Tiny Takeover and Chaos Cubed, now we’re gearing up for 26.3!
We expect to have plenty more Minecraft Maps and Modpacks to add to the StickyPiston Hosting library, and it’s all thanks to the amazing creators behind these projects.
And of course, we’re getting closer to Halloween and Christmas (yes, already)!
