Deep Freeze your Minecraft Server

If you need a break from your server without cancelling it, you can pause your server using the Deep Freeze downgrade and return to it when you're ready.

Deep Freezing a server will pause it for as long as you need, for 1.00 (£$€) per month. Your server will remain in Multicraft, but cannot be started. When you and your friends are ready to play Minecraft again, you can upgrade to your original RAM package and resume playing on your server exactly where you left off!

Outstanding Invoice

If an invoice has just been issued and is due the billing system will not allow you to upgrade or downgrade your server until the invoice has been paid.

There are two solutions:

  1. Open a support ticket and ask us to downgrade your server to Deep Freeze.
  2. Pay the invoice, then downgrade your server, the payment you have just made will be added to your credit account.

Outstanding Invoice: Why You Can't Upgrade or Downgrade Your Server

If you encounter an issue when attempting to upgrade or downgrade your server and notice that there's a due invoice, it’s because the billing system does not allow changes to your server configuration while an invoice is outstanding.

This restriction helps ensure accurate billing and account management.

How to Resolve This Issue

There are two ways to address this and proceed with upgrading or downgrading your server:

1. Request a Downgrade to Deep Freeze

  • Open a support ticket with us and request to downgrade your server to the Deep Freeze plan.
  • This allows you to pause your server operations temporarily while retaining all your server data.

2. Pay the Outstanding Invoice

  • Settle the invoice that is currently due.
  • Once the payment is processed, you can downgrade your server as needed. The amount you’ve just paid will be credited to your account and can be applied to future invoices or purchases.

Why Does This Happen?

Our billing system is designed to prevent overlapping or conflicting invoices. By ensuring all dues are settled before server changes, we maintain a smooth and transparent billing process for your account.
