You can add users in Multicraft to give your friends access to your Multicraft
Control Panel.
This article explains the various roles that can be
assigned and what access each of them grants
If you are a StickyPiston server owner, you will need your friend to create a
Multicraft account on the correct control panel.

How to manage your server Sub Users
- Log into your Multicraft Control Panel
-
On your server page, select
Advanced > Sub Users
on the left menu -
In the box above the
Username
column, enter the username that you want to assign a role or FTP access to and press Enter - Select the FTP access level and server role from the drop-downs next to the user name
Note: These changes take effect immediately and will not need you to save.
Multicraft Roles Explained
User Role | User Access |
---|---|
Unassigned | No access permissions |
Guest | View the server in their control panel and see who is online |
User | Access to the Chat Interface in your control panel |
Moderator | Access to read the server log and view File Manager if they have the matching FTP access |
Super Moderator | Access to use the console as well as Stopping, Starting and Restarting the server |
Administrator | Access to all control panel features |
Co-owner | The same as Administrator with the benefit of being tagged in StickyPiston support tickets |
FTP access roles
FTP User Role | FTP User Access |
---|---|
No Access | No access to your FTP |
Read Access | Access to connect to your FTP and view or download files but make no changes |
Full Access | Access to make changes in FTP and upload or download any files on the server |
Using Role Combinations
As you can see above, granting different permissions for users and FTP can
make managing your server a lot easier.
A friend with FTP access can
manage your world downloads while not being able to use console commands and
vice versa.
Removing Users
If you need to remove a user from your control panel, use the same method as
assigning roles and FTP access.
Remember to select
No Access
or Unassigned
to remove their access.
