Memory Requirements & Player Slots

  • Memory Guideline Start with 3GB of RAM, minimum tested for smooth server performance. For hosting friends or public servers, 4GB is recommended to handle more players and chunks. Upgrade RAM if lag hits, easy fix
  • Max Players estimates slots per GB before lag or out-of-memory errors. Mods/plugins reduce players per GB, and limits show as servers get busy. Unlimited Slots, set wisely in the control panel. It’s a guideline, not set in bedrock!

Why is All the mods so Laggy and Stuttering?

The reason is CurseForges' Launcher is missing the default Minecraft JAVA Arguments, without these will cause client lag such as judders or client lockups, commonly known as lag spikes. To fix CurseForge All the mods lag, do this:

  1. Open the CurseForge app
  2. Click Cog > Minecraft
  3. Add this to Additional Arguments
  4. Increase the Allocated Memory to modpack authors recommended settings
  5. Click the top-right
  6. Restart the All the mods, for no lag

Try changing the Mipmap levels to 0(This may freeze up your pc for 10 minutes but it will eventually change) Disable/enable VSync & VBO’s.
You can also edit this in the packs folder and editing the Options.txt

Allocate More RAM
You need at least 4.5 Gb for this pack but 4.5-6 Gb is better for performance. 3-4 Should be fine for the Lite version.
