Evil Genius Memory Requirements & Player Slots

Memory Guideline Start with 3GB of RAM, minimum tested for smooth server performance. For hosting friends or public servers, 4GB is recommended to handle more players and chunks. Upgrade RAM if lag hits, easy fix
Max Players estimates slots per GB before lag or out-of-memory errors. Mods/plugins reduce players per GB, and limits show as servers get busy. Unlimited Slots, set wisely in the control panel. It’s a guideline, not set in bedrock!

Why is Evil Genius so Laggy and Stuttering?

The reason is CurseForges' Launcher is missing the default Minecraft JAVA Arguments, without these will cause client lag such as judders or client lockups, commonly known as lag spikes. To fix CurseForge Evil Genius lag, do this:

Open the CurseForge app
Click Cog > Minecraft
Add this to Additional Arguments
-XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
