The Industrial Minecraft Game Drop has come – The Copper Age! 🏗️
Thanks to Minecraft Live – September 2025, we were able to get a full view into this drop! As for when the Drop’s name was revealed? Just last month on Minecraft.net!
This new age of Minecraft has shown just how much Mojang is able to push into their drops. We got some new entities coming in to help different types of players, many different blocks to play with, and a look into the next Minecraft drop already!

Organize the Systems through The Copper Golem
Get ready Minecraft Players! We’re going to start utilizing the best out of Copper Blocks now! Introducing The Copper Golem, this little guy can help organize your chests and oxidize into an entirely customizable statue. They’re extremely useful and abundant to make.
It’s super simple to make this guy. You just need to get yourself a carved pumpkin and a block of copper. Not only does this make The Copper Golem, but it also makes a new Copper Chest! Put items into this chest to have the Golem sort it into various Chests and Trapped Chests.
There’s not Only Copper Golems who can Help You
Mojang has brought in the power of the new Mannequin creature!
These mysterious “NPCs” are able to be customized in a variety of ways. From turning them into an AI Racer to maybe even making functional NPCs to chat with. There’s unlimited potential and no longer will players be forced to the primitive Armor Stands for their developmental purposes. These Mannequins might be good for convenience stores too…
Time to Shelf that Idea
Alright so maybe not all my ideas are exactly the greatest. Luckily I can Shelf it into a new storage system! These shelves make it easy to swap out using redstone and connect together with ease. And they only need to be crafted with stripped logs! How simple of a recipe.
And there’s many more Copper Decorations to mess with
As if we weren’t done getting building materials. Now we’ve gotten many Copper Decorations to mess with, able to adjust more with this industrial-looking mineral.
Not only have new lighting has come in the form of Copper Lanterns and Copper Torches, but there’s new Copper Bars, new Copper Chains, and even an entirely new Copper Chest! Mojang has went out of their way to give the abundant Copper many more uses and ways to develop. Your builds will start to look more lively thanks to all of it.
Well.. what’s next?
Well the prediction we made last time didn’t come to fruition. However we have been given a pretty good look as to what’s coming next for Minecraft.
The next update of Mounts of Mayhem seems to be pretty intriguing. But what do we think is coming outside of these?
Given they’re more based on The Oceans, we should consider what’s around there. We have a lot of information on them through Coral Reefs, Ruins, and Ocean Monuments, but what other secrets are we going to see in it? Here’s what we think!
- A New Ocean – A mysterious new ocean type that harnesses the mystique of the new Nautilus.
- Dolphin Riders – Drowned that also ride Dolphins! Functionality is already in the game, so why not make them spawn naturally?
- More Prismarine Blocks – More decorations based on the Prismarine Blocks. Copper Blocks got it, so shouldn’t it happen to Prismarine?
- The Oasis – A desert structure that rarely spawns with very prominent life. It also has some village settlers.
Like before, these speculations will always remain a stretch. Why? Because it’s fun to think about what’s coming into the next Minecraft drop!
