The Tenacious Tots of this Minecraft Game Drop come. It’s a Tiny Takeover! 🐤
Hinted at earlier this year, Tiny Takeover is a Minecraft drop featuring all about the little Minecraft mobs. Initially, they were just shrunken down versions of the adults. Now they got a new charm!
The Spring Drop here makes sure the little guys can spring into action and make your life much easier to deal with. All baby mobs have been given new models to help prevent players from doing dastardly things to them. Oh yeah, there’s also tons of new changes inside of the Minecraft code to help out the community of creators.

Main Highlights to 26.1
- A complete overhaul of baby mobs to new models
- The introduction to the Golden Dandelion to prevent aging
- Many changes to data driven components
- Villager Trades getting an entire overhaul
Just Look at how cute These Guys are

D’ah, just look at these little guys. There’s so many of these little guys it’s hard to name them all off. Well, I’m still going to anyways. We got:
- Baby Axolotls who even play dead
- The Gurgle previously known as Baby Drowned
- Baby Dolphins
- Baby Farm Animals (Chickens, Horses, Cows, Sheep, etc.)
- Baby Trader Llamas!
- Baby Nautilus
- Puppies, Kittens, and.. Snifflets?
- The Baby Polar Bear
- Tiny Baby little Villagers
And many more that can be talked about. See the full list of baby mobs.
Stay Golden my Little Miscreants

The Golden Dandelion has been introduced! This makes it super easy for players to keep their baby mobs, well.. babies!
The way this works is that when a baby mob is fed one of these golden dandelions, they will be able to stay forever young! Okay well maybe not forever. For if you fed them another Golden Dandelion, it resets their aging cycle and makes them age again.
Swing your Arms from Side to Side

The newly added /swing command now exists! It’s a pretty simple change to the game – it allows players to make entities swing their arms. There’s also a lot of new data driven features that came along with it, including vegetation.
These new data driven components will make it easier for creators to add in tons of new features.
Data Drive those Villagers Insane
One of the many changes that have been brought inside of this newest update is how much Villagers are changed. This is mainly so datapack developers can mess with them a lot more.

This makes it so the trades and amount of trades can be entirely limited by their choice. There’s also much more in store that I’m sure these developers and even map makers can find entertainment from.
