The first Minecraft LIVE of 2026 is back and went by so quickly! Want to know what happened? Well then fret not as here’s everything you need to know.
Bedrock Parties + Bedrock Minigames
This is for the Bedrock players out there. Have you ever wanted to get a group of friends together, but are tired of trying to manually join the servers at the same time? Well worry not as Bedrock Parties now exist! You can bring up to a group of 4 people together into a server all at once.
This will pair well with upcoming Bedrock Minigames. These include new updates for Mob Maze by Gamemode One and Soulsteel by Noxcrew.
Tiny Takeover and Spring Drops
Releasing on March 24th, 2026; the newest in the game drops will be coming out! It’s the Tiny Takeover! In it many baby mobs are overhauled, tons of data driven components are added, and much more. Read more about it in our 26.1 Drop | Tiny Takeover post.
Not to mention we got confirmation as to how the Spring Drops will be in the future. Each of these will help make obtaining previous items easier and are purely intended to be quality of life additions.
Minecraft Experience grows bigger
In the many Minecraft Announcements that were release, we got confirmation on Minecraft Experience coming to even more cities! This include:
- Herning, Denmark
- Singapore, Asia
- Mexico City, Mexico
- Chicago, Illinois
- A few more to come..
Not to mention there’s works for a NEW Minecraft Experience in the works. This will be an outdoor exploration known as Moonlight Trail. It will open in Buenos Aires, Argentina within the future. You can join in on the wait list if you are interested in it.
The Introduction of Minecraft World
Minecraft World, a new theme park, will be introduced as a part of the Chessington World of Adventures. While this is releasing in 2027, it’s definitely something to be anticipating for. There’s a lot to be seen in this that includes the first IRL Minecraft Roller Coaster!
There’s a lot of people who are having a hand in making this dream become a reality. From the small snippet seen at Minecraft LIVE; it appears as if builders like Mumbo, Grian, and DanTDM might have had a hand in making this become a reality.
The Chaos Cubed Summer Game Drop
This time around though, we should be expecting for Chaos Cubed. The Minecraft Summer Drop that’s arriving for players to mess around with. And, like with the predictions from the last blog post, is adding a cool new functionality for players with the newest mob alongside its building blocks.
So what exactly is inside of Chaos Cubed? Well for the 26.2 Drop, it’s focusing on a new cave system and the aforementioned mob and blocks. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but trust us – there’s a lot of versatility inside of this small action-packed drop.
- Sulfur Caves – A new Cave Biome made for players to explore and discover Cinnabar and Sulfur
- New Building Blocks – Cinnabar and Sulfur Blocks made for building decoration and extras to the building palette
- Sulfur Cubes – Slimes have grown to a new type of mob called the Sulfur Cubes, which are passive
Minecraft Dungeons II
Minecraft Dungeons II, a sequel Minecraft Dungeons, will be releasing Fall 2026. We don’t know what to expect from it, but it seems like we might be learning about the depths of the Deep Dark and its mysterious portal.
